New insights on COVID-19. Over 7.7 million people have died from SARS-CoV-2, while 5.6 billion—more than 70% of the global population—have received a COVID-19 vaccine (WHO, 2026). Beyond its severe health toll, the virus has triggered dramatic economic and political shifts worldwide. Chapter Two invites you to examine this virus closely to better understand the past and effectively prepare for the future.
New insights on HIV/AIDS. Globally, approximately 32 million people living with HIV are currently receiving antiretroviral therapy (ART), while about 4 million people are using PrEP medication to prevent infection (UNAIDS/hiv.gov, 2026). Section 5.2.5 invites you to examine this pandemic from its very onset, helping you make informed choices about ongoing treatments and your approach to managing viral risks.
New insights on polio. In the mid-20th century, polio paralyzed or killed over 500,000 people worldwide each year (NIH, 2024). Currently, there are approximately 10,000 cases of paralysis in the United States each year (my research statistics in the book), but these cases are not classified as poliomyelitis. Chapter Five invites you to examine paralysis throughout history and explore strategies for preventing these cases, especially in children.

Malaria still claims approximately 600,000 lives globally each year, with around 95% of deaths occurring in the African region and over 75% affecting children under the age of five (WHO/UNICEF, 2026). Equally critical is the historical link between conflict and disease, as malaria has frequently claimed more lives in war zones than direct combat. Chapter Five invites you to examine the root causes of malaria, existing medical treatments, and our promising alternative solutions.
New insights on epidemics and pandemics. My research spans from smallpox to COVID-19, challenging conventional understanding regarding infectious viruses. The research concludes that most historical epidemics and pandemics have stemmed from the mismanagement of febrile respiratory infections and asserts that these infections can be safely and easily resolved within hours, without medication. Here, we evaluate the clinical support for these claims.
Essential knowledge for everyone. Reading this book offers an opportunity to update critical health knowledge. For centuries, public understanding of respiratory illness has been shaped by widespread misconceptions and ineffective treatments. By introducing a new definition that classifies two types of febrile respiratory infections, this work aims to make both effective prevention and rapid recovery clear, logical, and achievable.
